DONNA SILVERTHORN

As many of you may have heard, On February 7^th 2004 we lost a good friend Donna Silverthorn to cancer. Many of you knew her; she was the main designer for the Cat’s Eye website. This website was her pride and joy and one of the best web sites I have ever seen. She also was a big help in redesigning this website, in the process we became good friends. The last time I saw Donna was at the Cat’s Eye Christmas party. She told me then that she was glad to be there and that she knew it would be the last Cat’s Eye Christmas party that she would attend. We are missing her already, but she has left behind her special touches and talents. There will be a memorial at the Cat’s Eye Pub Saturday February 21^st from 3-7 which will include special performances by different musicians that knew her. I will be there to help celebrate Donna’s life and make sure I play her favorite song. Although her work was her pride and joy, all that changed when Shane was born this past year. She was so proud and glad that she had the chance to meet her grandson. We will all think of her and miss her. Me especially every time I am singing “I still have the blues for you” and every time I look at my computer's keyboard and don’t know what I’m doing!
